Synopsis

HATE CRIMES -- When an elderly woman is found beaten to death in her apartment, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) believe the murder to be the work of an ambulette driver and his coworkers who had been robbing their elderly passengers. However, when the thieves produce an alibi for the murder, the detectives discover the victim was the lead witness in the deportation prosecution of an alleged Nazi war criminal thus creating a new motive for this murder.
