Synopsis

DETECTIVES DISCOVER A NEW TYPE OF VEHICULAR HOMICIDE -- When a homeless schizophrenic is killed in an apparent hit-and-run, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) utilize forensic evidence from the scene of the accident to search for the missing driver. However, when their investigation reveals the victim was trapped inside the car's windshield after the accident and that the driver - a high profile publicist - left the man dying in her garage, an outraged Executive A.D.A. Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) and A.D.A. Serena Southerlyn (Elisabeth Rohm) attempt to prosecute the woman for murder.
