Synopsis

POLITICAL AIDE DISAPPEARS -- Following a one-year position as an aide to state senator Elliot Judson (guest star Scott Wentworth), 24-year-old Lisa Edwards disappears from her Manhattan apartment, and while her frantic parents (guests stars Lynda Ferguson and Tom Stechschulte) demand attention to their daughter's case, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) track the young woman's last-known contacts, leading them not only to Senator Judson, but also to other powerful state officials (guest stars Glenn Fleshler and Brian Kerwin). Each of the three men had tried to help Edwards with her budding career -- but one of them may have had motive to keep her permanently out of the spotlight.
