Synopsis

RAP STAR ACCUSED OF NIGHTCLUB MURDER--Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) are called to a trendy nightclub to investigate the murder of an uninvited guest who moments before being shot had confronted popular rap star Darryl "G-Trane" Collins (guest star Cyrus Farmer). G-Trane and his girlfriend, actress Allie Lawrence (guest star Kerry Washington), fail to cooperate with the investigation, as do most potential witnesses, prompting the detectives to focus on the dead man's past, and an overly-protective bodyguard employed by the musician.
