iCarly shows a Fred episode on air, and after Freddie admits on the show that he doesn't find Fred very funny, Lucas Crukishank announces he will stop uploading Fred videos online. Fans (of Fred) begin to start hating iCarly, and in particular Freddie himself. Paparazzi begin to follow the iCarly crew on the online fight between the two shows. Eventually, Freddie regrets what he said on iCarly, and Fred reveals that the entire thing was publicity that increases the popularity of both webshows. Meanwhile, Spencer consults a "magic meatball" to make decisions for him eventually buying an ostrich and naming it Marvin.
