Synopsis

Ted has a shot at his dream job, but loses it when he and Robin barely miss a flight to Chicago for the job interview. As they retrace their steps, they uncover a complex series of events that led them to miss this flight, starting with Ted picking up a penny on the subway a few months ago. While it was Ted's destiny to pick up the penny, miss his flight and lose out on his dream job, ultimately picking up the penny proves to be the best thing Ted could have done.
