Synopsis

Grace Hanson and Frankie Bergenstien are brought to dinner by their law firm husbands under the assumption that they are going to announce they are retiring, but are shocked when they reveal they are actually leaving them, for each other, and want to get married due to new U.S. laws. The news quickly spreads to their horrified children. Despite their stark personality differences, Grace and Frankie strike up a bond when they both seek an escape at the Beach House which the couples share.
