When Emily and Will are assigned a patient dressed as a costumed character, Will automatically suspects that his symptoms suggest a psychotic episode, but Emily is not quite convinced. Dr. Bandari treats a tough-as-nails businesswoman who refuses to slow down after experiencing a heart attack. When the patient's husband confides he plans to leave his wife after she recovers, Dr. Bandari realizes that her own marriage may need some attention. Meanwhile, Emily agrees to be set up on a blind date with Cassandra's friend, but the night abruptly ends when the date has a serious allergic reaction.
