Our team is called to investigate the murder of a marine when he shows up dead at a camp site with half of his face mutilated. He was tazered and viciously attacked then left for dead. When we track other similar crimes we discover that two weeks ago a female runaway was murdered and her face was also mutilated and the killer removed her ears and eyes. Further evidence reveals that our unsub may be attempting to remove skin from his victims. Our team theorizes that our unsub may be taking the skin from his victims in order to do some kind of skin graph. Autopsy reveals that our unsub used an air compressor gun to blow up his victim's faces then remove their skin. Traces of a specialized paint are also found. When a young teenage girl goes missing and evidence of taser wire are found the team suspects it was at the hands of our unsub. In then end we discover that our unsub was a father who felt so guilty for injuring his young daughter's face in a fire that he felt the need to fix it himself. He kept his daughter locked away for four years and his delusion led him to force her to wear a mask so he wouldn't have to be reminded of the damage he inflicted. He was abducting people and hoping to harvest their skin to put on his daughter's face. Little did he know that his daughter's wounds were healed and she was no longer disfigured.
