The word of the moment is "Gagbismal." It's how Grayson describes the notion of everyone taking a vacation together. The Cul-De-Sac Crew agrees it's a bad idea until Jules says the group getaway will take place in Wine Country. All plans get put on hold once everyone realizes Travis has run off to live in Hawaii. Now the entire gang is headed to the Aloha State!
When Jules arrives, Travis seems quite happy. He even taught the natives a version of Penny Can using a coconut and a rock. Coco Rock! He also met up with Ted Buckland. Remember him from Scrubs? People now call him "The Buck." Well, he'd like them to. Anyway, The Gooch left The Buck for a guy named Hooch. Hooch and Gooch! How could The Buck possibly compete? The Buck looks happy enough with island life as he can turn any song into a sad one. Never has Love Shack sounded so darn depressing.
Travis has a job waxing surfboards and tells his mom that he's not coming home. Jules dives into Big Kimo (a Hawaiian version of Big Carl) to drown her sorrows in all kinds of rum. Big Kimo is actually the gigantic candle holder from her room. Things get worse for Jules when she has no choice but to tell a baby-crazy Grayson that she's done having kids. This newsflash has the G-Man downing drinks from a Big Kimo of his own.
Laurie decides to take the Travis matter into her own hands. She and Trav have a great day together which includes Laurie breaking up with her VB, Blake. (VB, by the way, stands for "Vacation Boyfriend.") At the end of the day, Travis realizes that Laurie was just playing him to make him realize there's more to life than Kirsten. The plan works, but now Trav is really upset with Laurie. Not good.
