In the charmingly awkward romantic comedy Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, high school student Raido Matsuboshi finds his orderly world turned upside down by his enigmatic classmate, Reina Aharen. Aharen-san is a girl of incredibly small stature and even smaller personal space boundaries, often appearing to vanish or become lost in her own environment. When Raido, a boy with a tendency to overthink social situations, attempts to befriend her, he discovers that Aharen-san’s concept of proximity is radically different from his own.
