Slash Launches Film Production Company, to Shoot 'Nothing to Fear' as First Project
Movie

Telling about a family moving to Kansas and encountering an ancient and dangerous demon, the movie will begin its production next year.

AceShowbiz - Former Guns N' Roses rocker Slash is embracing his love of horror movies by launching his own Slasher Films production company. The guitarist has teamed up with Scout Productions to create Slasher Films, which will make horror movies inspired by his favorite thrillers from the '70s and '80s.

Slash tells Deadline, "I've always been a huge horror fan and creating films that take you back to the days where horror movies actually scared the hell out of you is something I've always wanted to do." And he's hoping he'll be able to live up to fans' expectations: "My audience is made up of young, edgy, discerning consumers, with an appetite for quality and a hint of anarchy."

Slash's first project, "Nothing to Fear", is about a family moving to Kansas and encountering an ancient and dangerous demon. Production is scheduled to begin next year.
