The Gun 'N Roses guitarist has resumed performing in the Big Apple after the tragic loss of his stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, while continuing to grieve her passing.

AceShowbiz - Guitar legend Slash, 59, has returned to the stage just two weeks after the heartbreaking death of his stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, at the age of 25. On Sunday, August 4, Slash performed at his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Blues Festival at Pier 17 in New York City.
Knight passed away on July 19 under circumstances that remain undisclosed. Slash announced Knight's death on Instagram, describing her as "the brightest light" in the lives of many.
"My heart is permanently fractured," he wrote in an emotional tribute. "I will never ever stop missing you & remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity & beauty you have always been ... & still are."
Prior to announcing Knight's death, Slash had abruptly canceled four tour dates.
He is currently scheduled to perform at Musikfest+ in Pennsylvania on Monday and will continue his tour through the southeastern United States.
Knight was born to Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight. Slash first dated Hodges in 1989 and reunited with her in 2015.
The Los Angeles Medical Examiner has completed an autopsy on Knight, but the cause of death is pending additional testing.
Slash's fellow musicians and celebrities have expressed their condolences for his loss, including Dave Grohl's daughter, Violet, Lenny Kravitz, and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea.
Despite the recent tragedy, Slash continues to find solace in his music and is back on stage performing for his fans.
