AceShowbiz - Lady GaGa is refusing to heed her peers' advice and take a break from her busy touring schedule - she's extending her Monster Ball trek into next year. The "Poker Face" hitmaker sparked fears for her health after she admitted to passing out three times during a recent concert in New Zealand, forcing her to lie down on the stage midway through a song.

Her tour promoter insisted the singer was just "tired and dehydrated", while GaGa put the blackouts down to jetlag. She explained, "I was so jetlagged, I got in the night before and the jetlag just really caught up with me. I passed out about three times on stage that night but I got myself to the floor. I'd rather die on stage than walk off the stage because I was going to pass out."

Her comments prompted superstar fan Janet Jackson and singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder to speak out, urging GaGa to get some well-deserved rest. Jackson said, "She works so hard and I told her I think she needs to slow down just a little bit, take some time out for herself."

But GaGa is pressing ahead with another tour of North America, announcing new dates. The star will extend the Monster Ball Tour next February, playing dates in cities including Las Vegas, New Orleans, Louisiana and Miami, Florida.
