On March 6, the pop icon left fans buzzing when she called into the show with a pre-recorded message, revealing that she and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, are planning to get married soon. "Hi, Bruno. Me and my fiancé have been traveling all year, but we're getting married soon," she said, adding a sweet request for a special song dedication.
Bruno Mars responded warmly, recognizing her instantly. "I know that voice," he said with a smile. He then recommended a track from his newly released album, The Romantic, suggesting the song "Risk It All" as a perfect dedication for the couple. "So I want to dedicate this one to Lady Gaga and her fiancé. Michael, this is for you too," he added.
Bruno Mars’ fourth studio album, The Romantic, dropped on February 27 and marks his first project since 2016’s 24K Magic. The album features nine new tracks, including the Billboard Hot 100-topping single "I Just Might," which is his 10th overall chart-topper and first debut at No. 1.
Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have been publicly together since early 2020. The singer made their relationship Instagram official in February of that year and affectionately called Polansky "the love of my life" shortly thereafter.
