AceShowbiz - Prime Video is gearing up to launch Boys of Tommen, a new young adult romantic drama series adapted from Chloe Walsh’s popular book. The project comes from the creative teams behind The Summer I Turned Pretty and Off Campus, with Temple Hill producing.
The cast features fresh talent and rising stars. Leading the ensemble is Nancy Surridge, who will portray Shannon Lynch, the introverted and enigmatic newcomer at Tommen College. Joining her is Conor Sánchez, known for Mix Tape, playing Johnny Kavanagh, the charismatic golden boy of the college.
James O'Donoghue, who appeared in Sanctuary: A Witch's Tale, takes on the role of Joey Lynch, a character described as troubled yet fiercely loyal. The cast is rounded out by Sophie McGibbon from Sense & Sensibility, who will bring to life Aoife Molloy, a confident and strong-willed student.
Prime Video has shared some first-look images from the set, providing a glimpse of the dynamic between these key characters. The series is positioned as another significant YA adaptation for the streaming platform, aiming to capture the same audience enthusiasm that Chloe Walsh’s bookTok sensation generated.
With the blend of fresh faces and experienced talent, Boys of Tommen is shaping up to be a compelling coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of college life, exploring themes of romance, friendship, and personal growth.
