Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman claims she stopped his recurring gift income in 2021, seeking reduced spousal support amid divorce.

AceShowbiz - Elijah Blue Allman has revealed in recent court documents that his mother, Cher, stopped providing him with a steady "recurring gift income" several years ago.
The 49-year-old musician made this claim in a filing submitted on May 5 in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, connected to his ongoing divorce from estranged wife Marieangela King. According to the documents obtained by People, Allman is seeking a reduction in spousal support payments and attributes this request to the loss of financial assistance from Cher.
As Allman described, the pop icon and his mother ceased sending him recurring financial gifts in August 2021. Without these funds, his monthly income after taxes is $6,790, primarily from a trust set up by his late father, Gregg Allman, from whom he receives $10,000 per month.
The filing also details that Allman currently pays $6,500 monthly in spousal support to King, who he claims has made "no efforts to become self-supporting." His legal team is pushing to reduce this amount to $1,651 per month. A hearing regarding the spousal support adjustment is scheduled for July 17.
Neither Cher nor Allman’s representatives have commented on the situation following requests from Rolling Stone.
Last month, a judge denied Cher’s emergency petition to appoint a court conservator for Allman’s finances while he remains in a psychiatric facility in New Hampshire facing criminal charges. This request was made in anticipation of Allman’s upcoming quarterly payout from his late father’s trust, due this month.
The unfolding legal and financial developments highlight ongoing challenges within the family as Allman navigates both personal struggles and his divorce proceedings.
