Despite facing cancellations of shows across Europe due to controversies, Ye will perform on July 11 in Tirana, Albania. The event will take place at the Air Albania Stadium, which normally accommodates 22,500 people. However, for this concert, a temporary, custom-built stadium will be erected to expand the capacity to 60,000, according to the event promoter.

The design for the stadium will incorporate a large half-globe stage, similar to the one Ye used during his recent comeback performances in Los Angeles earlier this month.

The Albanian Prime Minister's Office explained the decision to host Ye in a statement to the local news outlet BIRN, emphasizing the economic benefits. The ministry noted, "In every aspect, it is our obligation to welcome and facilitate the development of such events that bring numerous benefits to tourism and the economy." They further added that the concert "will have an extraordinary impact on the promotion of tourism and the local economy."

Ye has encountered substantial challenges performing in Europe due to his past anti-Semitic remarks. His scheduled headline slot at the Wireless Festival 2026 was canceled after the UK government barred him from entering. Additionally, shows planned in Poland and Switzerland were canceled, and a June performance in France has been postponed.
