AceShowbiz - Ye made a surprise visit to the federal courthouse in downtown Los Angeles to show support for Lil Durk during his ongoing murder-for-hire trial.
On Thursday, August 27, the Chicago rapper and producer entered the courthouse and proceeded to the courtroom where Lil Durk's case was being heard. Dressed in all black, Ye was seen sitting alongside Durk's family members while testimony was being given by OTF artist Jam.
In addition to sitting with the family, Ye was photographed alongside OTF rapper Doodie Lo, who was holding up a "Free Durk" T-shirt in a public show of solidarity. Doodie Lo later shared a message on Instagram expressing gratitude toward Ye for standing with Durk during this difficult time.
Ye is among several high-profile rappers rallying around Lil Durk as he faces serious allegations of orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot against rival rapper Quando Rondo. This case stems from a violent conflict linked to the fatal shooting of King Von in November 2020, which involved associates from both camps.
Earlier in the week, on Monday, August 24, Chicago rappers G Herbo, Dreezy, and Doodie Lo were also seen outside the courthouse wearing "Free Durk" shirts to publicly back Durk. Additionally, rapper Machine Gun Kelly attended the trial hearings, reportedly watching from an overflow room. India Royale and Durk's father, Durk Banks Sr., were also spotted at the courthouse.
The presence of such notable figures highlights the strong support network surrounding Lil Durk as the trial continues. The case remains ongoing, and updates will follow as more information becomes available.
