AceShowbiz - The 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame Gala will feature performances by Warner Records artists Josh Groban and Teddy Swims, celebrating the label’s recognition as this year’s recipient of the Visionary of Music Award. The event, jointly presented by the Recording Academy and the Grammy Museum, is scheduled for Friday, May 8, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
Josh Groban, who has achieved three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200—Closer (2004), Noel (2007), and All That Echoes (2017)—will join Teddy Swims, whose single "Lose Control" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was named Billboard’s year-end No. 1 song for 2024. This track also set records for the most weeks spent in the Hot 100 top 10 (80 weeks) and the most total weeks on the chart (112 weeks). Both artists have been previously nominated for Grammy Awards, with Groban receiving five nominations and Swims two.
In a joint statement, Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson, co-chairmen of Warner Records, emphasized the importance of artist development at the core of their label’s mission. They said, "Everything we do begins with a deep commitment to supporting artists, building careers over time, and giving creative voices the freedom and foundation for long term success." They expressed gratitude toward the Recording Academy and the Grammy Museum for the recognition, calling it a meaningful honor for their team and a reflection of the exceptional artists and recordings defining Warner Records.
Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, praised Warner Records for its decades-long influence on the music industry, stating, "For more than 60 years, Warner Records has been a trailblazing force in the industry, nurturing and elevating some of music’s most influential acts." He highlighted the label’s ongoing dedication to artist advocacy, creative excellence, and its adaptability in the evolving music landscape as reasons why Warner Records is a deserving recipient of this accolade.
Michael Sticka, president and CEO of the Grammy Museum, added that Warner Records' history of supporting notable artists and helping immortalize influential recordings makes it an apt choice for the Visionary of Music award. He remarked, "The label is a fitting recipient of the Visionary of Music award for its long history of supporting great artistry and helping bring influential recordings into the cultural canon."
The upcoming gala will also showcase performances by other distinguished musicians. Previously announced performers include George Clinton, founder of Funkadelic; Ann and Nancy Wilson, founding members of Heart; Americana and contemporary folk artist Lucinda Williams; and the a cappella gospel group Take 6. Additionally, singer-songwriter and pianist Norah Jones will perform and receive the Ray Charles Architect of Sound Award during the event. Clinton and the Wilson sisters have been honored with lifetime achievement awards from the Recording Academy, while Williams, Take 6, and Jones collectively hold 21 Grammy Awards.
Each performance at the gala will pay homage to one of the 14 recordings inducted into the 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame. These inductees span nearly a century of recorded music history, reflecting a rich and diverse legacy. The gala will be hosted once again by broadcast journalist Anthony Mason.
The production team includes former Grammy Awards executive producer Ken Ehrlich, working alongside Renato Basile, Chantel Sausedo, Lindsay Saunders Carl, and Lynne Sheridan. Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner Cheche Alara will serve as the music director for the event.
Tickets for the 2026 Grammy Hall of Fame Gala are currently available for purchase. For further details and ticket information, interested parties are encouraged to visit the Grammy Museum’s official website.

The 2024 gala celebrated Atlantic Records, featuring performances by Shinedown in tribute to Led Zeppelin, Ravyn Lenae honoring Roberta Flack, and The War and Treaty paying homage to Ray Charles.
