AceShowbiz - BloodHound Q50, the Chicago rapper born Mikquale Cooper, was fatally shot early Sunday morning in a violent attack that involved over 50 gunshots fired by six assailants.

The incident occurred just before 4 a.m. at a local gas station in Chicago, where BloodHound Q50 was sitting in his car. Surveillance videos capturing the event have been widely shared online, showing moments leading up to the shooting.

One clip recorded from inside the gas station shows BloodHound Q50 briefly leaving the store and hesitating before stepping outside again. Moments later, gunfire erupts.

Another video from outside the gas station captures the rapper entering his white Tesla seconds before six gunmen open fire on the vehicle. Authorities reported that more than 50 rounds were discharged during the ambush.

The shooters fled the scene in multiple vehicles. Surveillance footage also shows one of the suspects entering the gas station, spotting BloodHound Q50, and leaving shortly before the gunfire began. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

Local news outlet CWB Chicago provided detailed reports of the attack, and the Chicago Police Department has been contacted for comment but has not released further information.

BloodHound Q50 had been gaining recognition in the Chicago rap scene, collaborating with artists such as VonOff1700 and EST Gee. His notable projects included 2025’s Long Live My Brudda He Prolly Kilt Yo Brudda and 2026’s Get Back or Die Trying. Just weeks before his death, on August 20, he dropped his latest single titled "Head Taps."

The tragic event adds BloodHound Q50 to a growing list of rappers targeted in violent attacks while in the spotlight. The investigation into this shooting remains ongoing.
