Speaking with Rolling Stone immediately after the Stagecoach performance, Roth described his collaboration with Teddy Swims as a “45 [miles per hour] summer ride up to Stagecoach.” He reflected on the enduring appeal of Van Halen’s music, saying, "Classic Van Halen is probably 30 percent cowboy hat and boot."

When asked why he chose to perform "Jump" for the second festival in a row, Roth explained that the song captures a universal energy that resonates both physically and emotionally. He characterized it as "a song about ascending, taking a shot, testing the deep end." He added with humor, "It's about leading with your forehead, and I've been places with mine you wouldn't go with a pistol — which is cowboy humor."
