Heartbroken that I can't see you all this week, I wouldn't be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding."

He also praised the medical team assisting him, including doctors, nurses, cardiologists, and hospital management, calling them "legends" and sending "big big love xx z."

According to a report from People published on Monday, Zayn Malik has pulled out of promotional events tied to his new album, Konnakol, as his condition requires ongoing treatment.

Earlier this month, Zayn Malik was slated to appear as the musical guest on the Tuesday episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. However, updated guest listings no longer include him. The episode's lineup now features comedians Nikki Glaser, Ella Stiller, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Isabel Hagen.

Sources told People that Zayn Malik is also canceling other planned appearances, including fan meet-and-greets associated with his album promotion.
