"Sam said ‘In this scene, I want to see that you're really, really, really grossed out by this.’ And I was like, ‘Okay.’ I imagined if I were really doing this, I would be extremely disgusted. So I got genuinely grossed out but kept pushing through."

After finishing the shoot, Cherry recalled the cast and crew applauding her efforts, a moment she found encouraging. "When we finished shooting the scene, everyone clapped. Everyone on set clapped for me. I'm serious." The dedication required to perform such a physically and emotionally challenging scene did not go unnoticed.
