AceShowbiz - Euphoria fans attending this year’s Coachella festival will experience more than just live music, as HBO Max plans a unique premiere event for the show’s highly anticipated third season.
The streamer is hosting an exclusive screening of the season three premiere episode on April 12, timed to coincide with the episode’s official release date. The event is scheduled for 11:59 p.m. PT during Coachella’s first weekend, immediately after the festival’s final performance that night. This marks a groundbreaking moment, as Euphoria will be the first television series ever to debut a premiere episode on the Coachella grounds.
Access to the screening will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and requires a festival wristband, making it an exclusive opportunity for Coachella attendees. HBO Max has not yet confirmed whether any cast members will attend the desert event, but some stars are expected to be present for the show’s red carpet premiere in Los Angeles earlier that week.
Zendaya, the lead star of Euphoria, has a personal connection to Coachella, having joined the show’s composer Labrinth on stage in 2023. Together, they performed notable songs from the series’ soundtrack, including “All for Us” from season one and “I’m Tired” from season two.
The upcoming third season arrives after nearly four years since the last installment aired and features a significant time jump in the storyline. Returning cast members include Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace. Eric Dane also returns in what is announced as his final role on the show.
Coachella’s 2024 edition spans two weekends, April 10-12 and April 17-19, taking over the desert with a star-studded lineup. Headliners include Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, and Karol G, promising a vibrant festival atmosphere enhanced by this special television event.
