With resilience and optimism, Teddi Mellencamp shares an invigorating update that marks a significant milestone in her journey to recovery amid stage 4 cancer battle.

AceShowbiz - Teddi Mellencamp has been navigating a harrowing battle with stage 4 melanoma. She recently posted an emotional video on Instagram announcing a crucial update: her tumors have "significantly shrunk," giving hope that the treatments are working.

"I've just finished with all my scans and my tumors have significantly shrunk, which doctors believe means that this all will work, and I will be back to myself and feeling good," she declared. She added that she has two more sessions of immunotherapy before doctors expect her to be cancer-free.

Her announcement has been greeted with an outpouring of joy and support. Fellow "Real Housewives" co-stars Kyle Richards and Tamra Judge, co-host of the "Two Ts in a Pod" podcast with Teddi, expressed their excitement in the comments.

"BEST DAY EVER!!!!! So grateful," wrote Kyle Richards while Judge emotionally commented, "I can't stop crying tears of joy … I love you."

Discovered in 2022, Teddi's cancer eventually metastasized to her brain and lungs, presenting a life-threatening challenge. Despite the overwhelming odds, the 43-year-old maintains positive outlook, sharing both her struggles and triumphs.

Teddi's father, John Mellencamp, has been a steadfast pillar of support, often bringing levity to difficult moments. Teddi humorously shared how her father reassured her during a dark time by saying, "Hot girls never die." He also made sure to frequently check in on her, even discussing funeral plans, as described during an April podcast episode.

Teddi was initially diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in March 2022 after a routine skin check revealed a concerning spot on her back. By October, her diagnosis had progressed, and her condition took another turn for the worse when she started experiencing severe headaches, which led to the discovery of multiple brain tumors.

After a surgery to remove tumors in her brain, she received a 50/50 prognosis. "I'm going to keep a positive outlook because that's the way my doctor just spoke to me," she said. "He's like, 'You did this, you got this. You got that Mellencamp blood, so you're good.'"

The Mellencamp family, friends, and fans continue to rally around her, sending prayers, love, and well-wishes.
