AceShowbiz - Kristin Cavallari, the star of "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills", is laying to rest some long-standing speculations about her past relationships. The 38-year-old reality TV alum clarified, during an April episode of her "Let's Be Honest" podcast, that rumors suggesting she had dated Marvel star Chris Evans were entirely unfounded.
"Chris Evans and I had a similar friend group, and I think that we were at an event one night as a group, there was a group of us there," Cavallari explained, referencing their appearance at a 2008 event in Miami.
"We saw each other socially. I never dated Chris Evans. Ever, ever, ever. Didn't even go on one date with him. Literally, nothing ever happened, and there's been these rumors for years that we dated. Well, we've never dated."
Cavallari's attempt to debunk these rumors isn't new; back in October 2008, she told Us Weekly, "No, we're just friends. I've known Chris for a while, just through mutual friends. I've known him for a few years, actually." Despite her efforts, the rumors have persisted over the years.
In addition to addressing the speculation surrounding Evans, Cavallari also clarified her relationship with "The Hills" co-star Justin "Bobby" Brescia. "A person I did not date is Justin Bobby," she shared. "I've said that a thousand times. I never saw him outside of filming. Never, ever. Not one time did I see him outside of filming."
According to Cavallari, their on-screen kisses were all part of the job. "The only time I kissed him was when they asked me to kiss him on camera," she noted. "And listen, back in the day, I was like, yes, I'm a team player. I was getting paid for The Hills like I would a scripted show. I was like, yeah, I'll do that. Made it more fun for me."
Despite these clarifications, Cavallari has been open about her various romances post-divorce from Jay Cutler in 2022. She later had short-lived relationships with TikTok star Mark Estes and a fling with country singer Morgan Wallen. More recently, she revealed she was dating former NHL player Nate Thompson although she wouldn't consider him a boyfriend.
