AceShowbiz - Three months after teasing a new romance with another athlete and calling herself a "f**king WAG through and through," Kristin Cavallari who was previously married to former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler decided to reveal the identity of her lover.
She told her "Let's Be Honest" podcast listeners that she had a brief but "deep" fling with Nate Thompson, a retired NHL player.
The 38-year-old former star of "The Hills" decided to come clean about her ex-beau because "TikTok f**king detectives" had already connected the dots from her December 2024 "Dumb Blonde" interview.
On Tuesday's episode of her podcast, Cavallari shared details about their connection. "We didn't hold back anything," she explained. "We told each other f**king everything."
The duo maintained a mostly long-distance relationship, communicating through numerous voice notes, FaceTime calls, and text messages.
Cavallari spoke highly of Thompson, calling him a "great guy" who has done extensive work on himself. While she praised the "honest, pure, amazing" nature of their relationship, she hinted at the reason for their split.
"That attraction piece for me has to be so on fire for me to want to be with someone," she admitted. "I have gone out with amazing men, and this guy is a good example of that. Why can't I fall in love you?"
Despite "firing on all other cylinders," Cavallari noted that there wasn't a "flame" with Thompson, humorously adding, "I need in the beginning to want to rip your f**king clothes off."
The reality star underscored her need for both "compatibility and chemistry" in a partner, saying she understands that what she's searching for is rare and she's not willing to settle for less.
Reflecting on her dating life post-divorce from ex-husband Jay Cutler, Cavallari disclosed she has reactivated her Raya account but insisted she is not "hoe-ing it up."
Since their split in 2020, she has candidly discussed her romantic experiences, including hooking up with country singer Morgan Wallen and rejecting chef Bobby Flay.
Through her honest revelations, Cavallari continues to captivate her audience, offering a glimpse into her nuanced approach to love and relationships.
