AceShowbiz - Kristin Cavallari has finally found a buyer for her chic country estate in Franklin, TN. The 28-acre property, initially listed for $11 million, went under contract for $8.9 million last Friday, according to TMZ.
The sale of this property represents a turning point in Cavallari's life. She purchased the farmhouse in April 2020 for $3 million, coinciding with her announcement of a legal separation from her husband, Jay Cutler, after seven years of marriage. The couple's divorce was finalized in 2022.
Over the next 18 months, Cavallari teamed up with interior designer April Tomlin, completely overhauling the home. The extensive renovations included gutting the kitchen, finishing the basement, redoing the bathrooms, and expanding her large closet. Additionally, an in-ground pool and a greenhouse were added to the property.
During a 2022 interview with My Domaine, Cavallari expressed her deep emotional connection to the home, "I am really thankful because this is the first house I've ever lived in that is exactly what I wanted aesthetically."
The estate is enriched with features that reflect Cavallari's refined taste. It boasts state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, a quartzite island, and a walk-in pantry. It also includes a spacious master bedroom, three en-suite bedrooms, four bathrooms, and one partial bathroom. The basement has been transformed into a wellness retreat, complete with a fancy sauna and a large gym.
Cavallari's property also facilitated a unique upbringing for her three children -Camden, 12; Jaxon, 10; and Saylor, 9. The kids' zone, located on the second level, consists of their bedrooms, a playroom, an arts and crafts room, and a game room. The outdoor area offers ample space for them to play, as well as bees, honey, and a chicken coop, adding an element of nature-based education to their lives.
The property is situated 21 miles south of Nashville and also features a 3,070-square-foot guest house, a vegetable garden, apple trees, and berry bushes. Cavallari's fondness for Tennessee shines through as she declares it a "very grounding" place for her.
In her professional life, Cavallari has been busy concluding her five-date "Let's Be Honest" podcast tour, which will be documented on "Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour," premiering June 5.
During one of her tour stops, she humorously remarked about the challenges of dating in Nashville, explaining her return to dating apps and finding her matches with "known people."
An icon of versatility, Kristin Cavallari continues to captivate audiences with her diverse ventures and personal milestones, making her journey a fascinating one to follow.
