Rebecca Gayheart gets honest about her relationship with husband Eric Dane amid his battle with ALS, roughly a month after she withdrew her divorce filing.

AceShowbiz - Rebecca Gayheart dished on her relationship with husband Eric Dane after calling off their divorce. The couple decided to stay married just a month before Dane's ALS diagnosis was made public.
Gayheart, speaking at the premiere screening of "The Carters: Hurts to Love You," emphasized that despite their marital struggles, they remain "best of friends" and are "really close."
"We are great co-parents," Gayheart, 53, shared with E! News. "We really figured out the formula to staying a family. I think our kids are benefiting greatly from it, and we are as well."
She further illustrated her optimistic perspective on their relationship, stating, "I think it's important to not look at a relationship that ends as a failure."
"It's just a season. It wasn't a failure. We were married for, I mean, we are still married, but together for 15 years, and we had two beautiful kids. So I think that's a successful relationship, and that's how we look at it."
A day before Gayheart's comments, Dane, 52, known for his roles in "Grey's Anatomy" and "Euphoria," publicly disclosed his ALS diagnosis. "I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter," he stated, highlighting the importance of his family's support as they embark on this new journey together.
Despite the diagnosis, Dane assured fans of his dedication to continuing his work, noting his eagerness to return to the set of "Euphoria" for its third season next week.
Rebecca Gayheart initially filed for divorce from Eric Dane in 2018 after 14 years of marriage. They share daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13, together.
