AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian is trying to solve dating challenges as a single mom. In the latest episode of her podcast show, "Khloe in Wonder Land," she had a candid conversation with dating expert Logan Ury and delved into the intricacies of modern romance and the extra hurdles her celebrity status brings to the table.
Khloe, 40, shared an interesting approach towards mitigating the stress of dating, inspired by conversations with her sister Kim Kardashian, who is also single with children.
The sisters have contemplated getting a "bachelorette pad" - a secure and private space separate from their family homes, where they could meet dates without the prying eyes of the public or exposing their children to new acquaintances prematurely.
One significant roadblock Khloe mentioned is her fame. "I don't want to go out to a restaurant with someone that I've just met, because then I'm linked to this person, and it turns into some bigger thing," she explained, emphasizing how such outings can quickly spiral into public speculation.
Khloe also pointed out the risks of introducing new people to her personal space too soon. Safeguarding her children's environment is paramount, and only a partner who has stood the test of time - at least six months - would be introduced to her home.
However, the alternatives are not without their own risks. Public places attract undue attention, and even more secluded venues can harbor safety concerns. "And I'm not going to their house, 'cause what if they murder me?" Khloe joked, alluding to the extreme yet real threats that can arise.
Logan Ury proposed a middle ground - a third space that strikes a balance between public exposure and total privacy. "Maybe a friend's house," Ury suggested, offering a thoughtful solution.
Yet, Khloe had already envisioned a different option. "It's so funny, my sister and I, we always say, 'We need a crash pad, like a bachelorette pad,' " she said, likely referring to Kim, 44. This space would serve as a neutral, comfortable setting for dates, steering clear of the implications that come with booking a hotel room.
Khloe's idea of a "bachelorette pad" might just set a trend for those in similar situations, offering a new perspective on dating with discretion.
