When Hailey Bieber 'liked' a TikTok video poking fun at Selena Gomez, it revived discussions about a long-standing feud that both women have denied. But was it a case of being shady or just a social media slip?

AceShowbiz - Amidst her husband Justin Bieber's drug use rumors, Hailey Bieber is facing her own scrutiny as she reignited feud with Selena Gomez. A TikTok user claimed that Hailey "liked" a video mocking Justin's ex and her current fiance, Benny Blanco.
The original TikTok video critiqued Gomez and Blanco's recent photo shoot for Interview magazine. "I genuinely can't decide which is the worst," the TikToker commented about the photoshoot, "This is the WORST."
Nearly a month later, Courtney shared a follow-up TikTok showing what she claimed was proof that Hailey had liked her shady video, adding further commentary on the alleged feud between the two women.
"Hailey Bieber herself liked my TikTok," Courtney said in a March 6 video. "Don't necessarily come for me in the comments, but I was being a little shady to Selena Gomez." She continued, "I feel like this is definitive proof that, when Hailey Bieber is like, 'Oh, it's all love. It's all good, we have absolutely no beef. Everything is completely fine,' she's lying."
Selena Gomez, 32, dated Justin Bieber on and off from 2010 until their final breakup in 2018. Justin quickly moved on and proposed to Hailey a few months later in July 2018. They married two months afterward and now share a son, Jack Blues Bieber, who was born in August 2024.
Despite the ongoing rumors, Hailey has always denied any animosity. During a September 2022 appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, she said, "I can say, period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody." She emphasized that it's "all love" between her and Gomez, and expressed frustration over the narrative of women pitted against each other because of a man.
Similarly, during a 2023 interview on Bloomberg's The Circuit, Hailey denounced the so-called feud as a harmful fabrication, stating, "This is not about this pitting between two women- it's about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted and perpetuated narratives that can be really dangerous." She added, "I've hated it since the beginning and it goes back to being misunderstood."
While Hailey's "like" on a shady TikTok has caused a stir, the truth behind the alleged feud remains as murky as ever, with both women publicly maintaining that they harbor no ill will toward each other.
