Errol Musk claims that his wealthy son "hasn't been a good dad" and that his grandchildren have struggled with basic life skills due to an excessive reliance on nannies.

AceShowbiz - Elon Musk found himself at the center of another controversy - not for his business ventures, but for his parenting skills. In a tell-all interview that aired on the "Wide Awake" podcast, Musk's father, Errol Musk, did not hold back in his blunt criticisms of his son's approach to fatherhood.

Errol, 79, stated outright, "No, he hasn't been a good father." According to Errol, Elon's wealth and reliance on nannies played a significant role in shaping his parenting style.

He recounted a particularly harrowing detail about Elon's first child with ex-wife Justine Wilson, who tragically died at 10 weeks old due to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). "The first child was too much with nannies and died in the care of a nanny," Errol said.

Elon and Justine's subsequent five children - twins Griffin and Vivian, 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian, 19 - each had their own nanny as well, Errol claimed. "It was no good. They were too rich, too many nannies. It was a weird situation. He didn't spend enough time with them," he continued.

He suggested that this lack of direct paternal involvement negatively impacted the children's basic life skills, saying, "They can't cross the road. We have to hold their hands across the road when they're like 14 years old."

When the podcast host asked if Elon was too busy for his kids, Errol concurred.

However, not everyone agreed with Errol for his public condemnation of his son. "I dislike Elon but his dad is wrong for this," one TikTok user commented while another added, "What sort of father is prepared to criticize his son so publicly?"

The situation was further complicated when Ashley St. Clair, a right-wing influencer, claimed online that she gave birth to Elon's 13th child five months ago. Elon neither denied nor publicly acknowledged the child.

A different commenter suggested Elon was the product of Errol's parenting so Errol only had himself to blame. "Bad dads can notice bad dads," the critic quipped.

Elon has been vocal about his difficult relationship with his father. In a 2017 Rolling Stone interview, he described Errol as "such a terrible human being," going so far as to say, "You have no idea. My dad will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil."

Elon was also criticized by his ex Grimes, who shares three children with him. She recently blasted the tech mogul for bringing their son X AE A-XII to a press conference, arguing that the child should not be exposed to media attention at such events.

Elon Musk has yet to publicly respond to his father's criticisms, leaving room for continued speculation and discussion among the public.
