AceShowbiz - Ashley St. Clair, known for her work at conservative news satire outlet The Babylon Bee and her children's book "Elephants Are Not Birds," revealed on social media platform X that she gave birth to Elon Musk's child in 2024.
"Elon Musk is the father," she wrote. "I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause."
If true, the baby will be Musk's 13th child, joining the billionaire's huge broods that includes children with ex-wife Justine Wilson, artist Grimes, and Neuralink executive Shivon Zillis.
The Tesla boss hasn't responded to St. Clair's claim, but he wrote a succinct "Whoa" on X, following a post that suggested St. Clair might have been plotting for years to "ensnare" him.
St. Clair quickly responded, criticizing Musk for engaging with "smear" post rather than addressing their private matters. "Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded," she stated.
In another post that has since deleted, St. Clair claimed the SpaceX mogul was asking her to have more children with him just as recently as "last week."
Despite her public plea for a mutual arrangement for their child, Musk has yet to make a detailed statement regarding his alleged 13th child, focusing instead on his usual social media activity.
A representative for St. Clair blamed invasive tabloid reporting for disrupting the pair's discussion about their co-parenting. "We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledged his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share," the rep added.
Elon Musk is no stranger to disputes over parental rights. The billionaire's relationships with his children's mothers have been tumultuous, with public and legal battles documented over time. Grimes, for instance, accused him of blocking her access to their kids.
However, one baby mama Zilis seemed content with their unconventional family. Just after St. Clair's announcement, she posted a picture with her little children accompanied with a proud caption, "Lil loves of my life," to which the billionaire responded with a loved-up smiley emoji.
As this unfolding saga around St. Clair's claim continues to evolve, the public keenly awaits Elon Musk's next move.
