Last November, a clip from "The Drew Barrymore Show" went viral. During a spirited conversation about what makes Martha Stewart feel "soft and gooey" on the inside, Barrymore started caressing Stewart's back and arm.

In response, Stewart playfully pushed her away and quipped, "You're the wrong gender," prompting Barrymore to dramatically fall back on the couch, playfully responding, "I know … although, the way it's going with men, though, Martha, I'm not so sure anymore."

The moment spread like wildfire online, with many viewers interpreting it as an awkward and uncomfortable interaction.

On a recent episode of "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen, Barrymore addressed the viral incident with Stewart. The duo's playful banter was all in good fun, according to Barrymore. "You know what? I think she was just teasing," she said, insisting Stewart "really does like" her.

Barrymore elaborated further, saying, "I think the internet just misunderstood the moment and ran with it, because when I first was getting to know her, I was like, I don't think she likes me. But I think I broke through. She doesn't dislike me!"
