AceShowbiz - Grammy-winning songwriter Diane Warren is among those who lost their homes to the ferocious blazes. On Instagram, Warren posted a poignant photo of a rock on the beach behind her house that holds sentimental value as it reminds her of a late friend.
"This is the last pic I took of Leah's rock from my beach house. I've had this house for almost 30 years. It looks like it was lost in the fire last nite," she wrote.
Showing a touch of optimism amidst the chaos, Warren noted, "There's a rainbow shining on it which I'm taking as a sign of hope for all creatures who have been affected by this tragedy. The animals and the rescue ranch are OK tho which is the most important thing. Stay safe everyone."
The fires, which have scorched thousands of acres, have led to widespread evacuations. The Palisades Fire alone has forced 30,000 people to flee their homes as it burned at least 5,000 acres, exacerbated by strong winds. On the east side, the Eaton Fire has grown to 10,600 acres near Pasadena, causing over 52,000 residents to evacuate.
Hollywood stars have been vocal on social media, sharing their heartbreaking losses and offering support. "All My Children" and "General Hospital" star Cameron Mathison posted a video showing the remnants of his home.
"We are safe but this is what's left of our beautiful home, our home where our kids were raised and where they wanted to raise their own someday," he wrote. Jamie Lee Curtis also shared the devastation caused in her neighborhood but confirmed her home was safe.
"Our beloved neighborhood is gone. Our home is safe. So many others have lost everything. Help where you can. Thank you to the first responders and firefighters," Curtis posted on Instagram.
Reality TV star Spencer Pratt revealed the loss of his home and his parents' house through a touching post. "The one positive sign I saw as our house burned down was our son's bed burned in the shape of a heart," Pratt wrote. "A sign of how much love was in this house so thankful for all the years and memories there with our family."
Additional evacuations impacted other famous names. Mandy Moore had to leave her home and shared her uncertainty about its status. "Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night," Moore posted. "Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel. Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss."
As the fires persist, many Hollywood events have been canceled or postponed. Actors and residents continue to grapple with the tragedy, rallying together to support one another in these trying times.
