AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, a name once synonymous with glamour and success in the music industry, now faces a barrage of serious allegations that threaten to dismantle his legacy. In an upcoming 90-minute documentary, "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy", premiering on Peacock January 14, the arc of Diddy's rise and fall is captured through exclusive interviews and never-before-seen footage, which is being teased in the newly-released trailer.
Produced by Ample Entertainment, Blink Films, and FGW Productions, the documentary features key figures from Diddy's life, including a childhood friend, a former bodyguard, and a winner from his talent show "Making the Band".
Al B. Sure!, a singer and former signee at Uptown Records who dated Kim Porter before her relationship with Diddy, speaks out for the first time. "Something is not right with this," says Al B. Sure! in the trailer.
The documentary promises to shed light on Diddy's early years, his transformation from Puffy to Diddy, and his meteoric rise to fame. However, it also delves into the dark underbelly of his success, featuring numerous harrowing allegations.
One anonymous interviewee reveals, "I've been with Sean for quite a while and I've captured a lot of moments. Anytime a studio or any room is red …. Some of the girls who were in the room, for sure, they were underage."
A woman who claimed had access to his parties said, "I wanna speak about this now because I've witnessed everything." Another female possibly a victim claimed, "They said they could ship me off and sell me to anyone."
Diddy's recent arrest in New York City in September 2024 has kept him behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
Despite multiple attempts at bail, including a $50 million bail package, his legal team's efforts have been thwarted, resulting in Diddy dropping his bail appeal in December 2024. He remains incarcerated, awaiting his trial set to begin in May 2025. If convicted, Diddy could face life in prison.
Despite hotel footage of ex-girlfriend Cassie, Diddy's legal team maintains his innocence, asserting, "In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never assaulted or trafficked anyone - man or woman, adult or minor."
Meanwhile, the public remains eager to see how the trial unfolds, and the documentary offers a timely, intimate look at both the achievements and the allegations that have cast a shadow over the Bad Boy mogul's storied career.
Don't miss "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy" on Peacock, starting January 14, as insiders finally break their silence on one of the music industry's most controversial figures.
