AceShowbiz - There is trouble in paradise for Eva Marie and Jonathan Coyle. It has been reported that the former WWE superstar is divorcing her husband after being in a marriage for a little over one decade.
On Monday, December 20, TMZ revealed that the 40-year-old professional wrestler, who famously managed The Bella Twins before eventually joining the SmackDown brand, has slapped Jonathan with divorce papers. According to court records, she submitted the legal documents earlier this month.
The media outlet noted that the court papers "stated they got hitched back on October 20, 2014." The documents allegedly also showed that the estranged couple "separated in October 2023." As for the reason behind their separation, it was listed as irreconcilable differences.
In the wake of the report, Eva, who appeared on "Celebrity Big Brother" and finished in seventh place, has not publicly spoken up on the matter. Though so, she shared a social media post about "hardships" that same day.
Eva, whose full name is Natalie Eva Marie Nelson, offered social media users a glimpse of her recent photo shoot. Making use of her Instagram page, she treated her followers to a series of pictures highlighting her stunning look.
In the snaps, it could be seen that Eva was striking some poses while chilling on a rooftop. The actress/model opted to wear a set of Gucci bikini, consisting of a bra top which came with two straps and a halter neck design, as well as a pair of undies.
Eva completed the look with a colorful bandana. She accessorized herself with a pair of big hoop earrings, a necklace, which featured a cross pendant on its end, and black bracelets. In addition, her long pink hair was styled in braids. Along with the pictures, she wrote in the caption, " 'Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.' C.S. Lewis."
Eva and Jonathan, who co-founded his own business NEMfashion, met each other for the first time at a CrossFit workout. The two dated for several months before he proposed to her. They hosted a wedding ceremony in Napa, California back in 2014. The nuptials were attended by Nikki Bella and Brie Bella among others.
