In an Instagram Live video, Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss reveals that a cancerous mass was discovered in his bile duct, between his pancreas and liver.

AceShowbiz - Randy Moss is opening up about his health issues. In an Instagram Live video, Moss, 47, revealed that a cancerous mass was discovered in his bile duct, between his pancreas and liver. He underwent a six-hour Whipple procedure to remove the cancer, which involved removing parts of his pancreas, small intestine, gallbladder, and bile duct.

"I didn't think I would ever be in a position like this, as healthy as I thought I was," Moss said. Moss spent six days in the hospital after the surgery before being released on Friday. He plans to continue with chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

The news of Moss's diagnosis comes after his son, Thaddeus, previously denied rumors that his father was battling cancer.

Despite the challenges, Moss remains optimistic and has launched a campaign to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. He is grateful for the support he has received from fans and fellow athletes, saying, "All the prayers, the well wishes, I really felt that."

Moss, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018, played 14 seasons in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers. He is second in NFL history with 156 touchdown catches and holds the NFL record for single-season touchdown receptions with 23 in 2007.
