AceShowbiz - Meek Mill has seemingly come to Jay-Z's defense after the hip-hop mogul is named in a lawsuit by one of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs accusers. The Philadelphia native has blasted "American media" and insinuated that the allegations are "false narrative" after Hov is accused of raping a minor with Diddy.
The "Ima Boss" hitmaker took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to react to the lawsuit filed against Jay-Z. On Sunday, December 8, he tweeted, "The goal is to start false narrative to create a matrix web .... If you can control the story line you can control the matrix." He continued ".... American media is totally unbelievable! I see 'Jayz ' _____ a 13 year old girl 300 times scrolling it's called programming."
Meek's tweet comes after Jay-Z is accused of raping Jane Doe. The woman, who initially filed her lawsuit against Diddy in October, refiled it on Sunday to include Jay-Z as a co-defendant. She claims Jigga "raped" her while Diddy and an unnamed female celebrity watched. She says she was only 13 years old when the alleged incident happened.
Jay-Z quickly denied the allegations, calling them "heinous" and accused Tony Buzbee, who represents the woman, of blackmail attempt. "These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case," his statement read.
Tony later clapped back at Jay-Z's denial, claiming that Jigga has tried to "bully and harass" him and his client. The attorney insisted that his client never "demanded a penny" from Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter.
Tony stated, "What he fails to say in his recent statement is my firm sent his lawyer a demand letter on behalf of an alleged victim and that victim never demanded a penny from him. Instead, she only sought a confidential mediation. Since I sent the letter on her behalf, Mr. Carter has not only sued me, but he has tried to bully and harass me and this plaintiff. His conduct has had the opposite impact. She is emboldened. I'm very proud of her resolve."
Diddy's legal team has also responded to the altered complaint. "This amended complaint and the recent extortion lawsuit against Mr. Buzbee exposes his barrage of lawsuits against Mr. Combs for what they are: shameless publicity stunts, designed to extract payments from celebrities who fear having lies spread about them, just as lies have been spread about Mr. Combs," they argued.
The Bad Boy Records founder's lawyers insisted, "As his legal team has said before, Mr. Combs has full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone-man or woman, adult or minor."
