Rapper Meek Mill sent prayers to the people impacted by the ongoing devastating wildfires in Los Angeles and shared his own personal story with a traumatic house fire.

"Prayers to LA πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ," Meek Mill wrote on X, expressing his concern for those impacted by the devastating blazes. He then shared a deeply personal reflection on his own experience with fire, "I never knew about fire trauma until my house caught on fire," he confessed. "I was smelling fire in my sleep jumping up for 3 years."

The rapper candidly admitted, "I didn't know that type of trauma existed. So I was just dealing with it as a kid! Prayers to the family's experiencing that first hand!"

Fellow hip-hop star Kid Cudi also shared his experience with the wildfires, taking to Instagram to share that he had to evacuate his home. "Hey guys, had to evacuate my crib," he wrote on his Story.

"I'm safe w my loved ones dogs are safe. For all the folks who lost their homes, people that are dealing with this, my heart hurts for you and I'm praying for us all and I send All my love to you and yours. If you have to evacuate, get out immediately. Don't hesitate. Be safe L.A. Love you guys."

Los Angeles native The Game is also actively involved in helping those affected. "Me and @travforthestars are helping ten families effected [sic] by the fires here. Get into Airbnb for a week free of charge," he shared on social media. "This is just sad. Los Angeles is really hurting right now," he wrote a heartfelt message. "If you are anywhere near fires… please pack what's necessary & evacuate immediately !!!!!!!!" He continued, "I have many friends, neighbors & people I know that have lost everything."

"My own home & those around it are in extreme danger as the Santa Monica mountains fires continue to spread & has now even reached the Hollywood hills close to Runyon Canyon. There are also fires picking up in other heavily mountain areas in surrounding areas. To my friends who are trying to tough it out & stay home hoping it won't completely come their way, be smart & leave now !!!!!!"

DJ and producer D-Nice posted a haunting image of one of the wildfires burning in his backyard. "It's truly heartbreaking out here in Los Angeles," he wrote. "I'm sharing this from my roof deck, witnessing the devastation around us. My family and I had to evacuate, and our thoughts are with everyone affected by these wildfires. We're praying for safety and strength for all those impacted during this difficult time."
