Fans of the Emmy-winning show make use of their social media accounts to express their disagreement of the unconfirmed posts saying that the 'E.T.' hitmaker will be serving as a guest judge in season 17.

AceShowbiz - Fans of "RuPaul's Drag Race" are not happy with recent rumors regarding the show. After it was reported that Katy Perry would join as a guest judge in the upcoming season 17, fans quickly expressed their dismay as they wanted someone else to appear on the show instead.
Fans of the Emmy-winning show made use of their social media accounts to express their disagreement of the unconfirmed posts. The rumors saying that Katy would be a guest judge on the new season emerged after a fan account for the "Dark Horse" hitmaker made the claim without evidence.
"Katy Perry will possibly be the guest judge on the premiere of the new season of RuPaul's Drag Race. The song 'Woman's World' will probably be the lip sync for the episode, which will air on January 3rd of next year. The official announcement should come soon!" @portalkatyperry wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Another post, on the other hand, noted that Katy would be a guest judge on the Drag Queens Got Talent segment.
Fans, however, were not thrilled over the rumors as they called for Chappell Roan's guest appearance. They believed it was only right for the "Good luck, Babe!" hitmaker, whose style and costumes are heavily influenced by drag queens, to serve as a guest judge on the show.
"i NEED to see chappell roan as a guest judge on drag race," one fan gushed on X. Another said, "If Chappell Roan is not a guest judge on the next season of Drag Race, Rupaul will get to know a completely different side of me,' wrote another fan of the series."
Someone said, "i hope chappel roan is a guest judge on season 17 of drag race." Another noted, "Just thinking about how we're gonna have Chappell Roan as a Drag Race guest judge in the next couple of months. Bring it on babes."
Some other fans listed guest judges they hoped would be featured on "Drag Race". The list included Chappell while Katy was nowhere to be seen. Others named in the list were Sabrina Carpenter, Dolly Parton, Naomi Campbell, Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and Nikki Glaser. However, one fan insisted that "Chappell Roan is the new Katy Perry."
