The former couple was first linked in December 2023 after they were spotted on a dinner date in Los Angeles. They sparked further romance rumors in January 2024 when they were seen sharing a kiss at an interactive museum.
Keoghan has been vocal in his support for Carpenter's career. He appeared in her "Please Please Please" music video and praised her work ethic in several recent interviews.
Despite their public support for each other, sources say that the couple's relationship has been on and off throughout their year together. Carpenter recently adjusted the lyrics at one of her October shows when Keoghan was present.
Reps for Carpenter and Keoghan did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The breakup news comes amid Carpenter's recent Grammy nominations, including a nod for "Song of the Year" for "Please Please Please." Keoghan has also been busy promoting his upcoming projects.
