The upcoming last two episodes of 'Saturday Night Live' 50th season are officially scheduled to be hosted by former members Chris Rock and Martin Short.

AceShowbiz - Chris Rock and Martin Short, both "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) alums, will return to the show's legendary Studio 8H as hosts for the final two episodes of 2024, continuing the star-studded celebration of its 50th season.

Rock will host for the fourth time on December 14, joined by musical guest Gracie Abrams, who makes her show debut. Short, meanwhile, will host for the third time as an individual on December 21, marking his fifth overall hosting gig. His musical guest will be Hozier, who's making his second SNL stage appearance.

Also joining the host lineup is Paul Mescal, who will make his hosting debut on December 7 alongside musical guest Shaboozey. This episode marks the show's return after a Thanksgiving hiatus.

Rock, who currently serves as executive producer and narrator of the animated "Everybody Still Hates Chris," was last seen in the film "Rustin." Short, who stars in the Hulu series "Only Murders in the Building," previously hosted "SNL" solo in 1996 and 2012, and co-hosted with Steve Martin in 2022.

The December 14 episode joins a season that has already seen hosts Jean Smart, Nate Bargatze, Ariana Grande, Michael Keaton, John Mulaney, Bill Burr, and Charli XCX, accompanied by musical guests Jelly Roll, Coldplay, Stevie Nicks, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Mk.gee.

"SNL" creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels will continue to helm the show, produced in association with Broadway Video. New episodes air on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET and stream live on Peacock. All seasons of the show are now available on Peacock.

To cap off its 50th anniversary celebrations, "SNL" will present a live primetime special on Sunday, February 16.
