AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan seemingly has no intention to give her response to rumors suggesting that she had plastic surgery. The "Mean Girls" actress appeared unfazed by the speculations despite her father's reaction.
On Friday, November 29, the 38-year-old famous actress made use of Instagram Stories to upload an apparently new photo of herself. In the never-before-seen selfie, it could be seen that she was striking a pose in front of the camera.
Lindsay was captured standing up in front of a light-colored wall. While turning her face to the side a little, she placed one of her hands below her mouth. She appeared to be in a good mood as she flashed her radiant smile.
For the selfie, Lindsay opted to wear a casual outfit, including a long-sleeved black sweatshirt to keep her body warm. She accessorized herself with what looked like her wedding ring, a bracelet and sparking earring.
The actress looked fresh with her natural makeup, including glossy pink lipstick and matching blush on her cheeks. In addition, her long blonde tresses, which cascaded down her back, were parted to the side. Over the picture, she simply wrote, "Happy Friday!" adding a red heart emoji.
The snap came after rumors suggesting that she went under the knife to alter her look circulated online. Earlier in November, social media users voiced their opinions on Lindsay's radiant appearance when she showed up on "Watch What Happens Live". While some of them showered her with praise for her beauty, others argued that she quietly underwent plastic surgery.
Furthermore, Dr. Jonny Betteridge, an aesthetics doctor, analyzed her recent photos and estimated that she might have invested up to $300,000 in plastic surgery procedures. According to Dr. Jonny, Lindsay had likely undergone a facelift, upper eyelid surgery, nose job and surgical brow lift. He also believed she had received Botox, lip lift, lip fillers and veneers.
Upon learning of the speculations, Lindsay's father Michael Lohan shut down the rumors while acknowledging that she has utilized non-surgical treatments. Michael told Page Six, "Lindsay never had any plastic surgery done ever." However, he added that his daughter has undergone cosmetic procedures such as "peels, fillers, and Botox."
