AceShowbiz - Jana Kramer, known for her portrayal of Alex Dupre on the WB series "One Tree Hill", is enthusiastic about the possibility of returning to the show in its upcoming reboot. Kramer revealed that she has discussed the potential with Sophia Bush, who is set to reprise her role as Brooke Davis.

"I've talked to Sophia about it," said Kramer. "They're gonna get their footing of the show, but I think they're open to bringing back characters."

The reboot series is currently in the early stages of development at Netflix, with Bush and Hilarie Burton serving as executive producers. According to Kramer, the intention is to bring back characters who make sense within the narrative.

"I think their intention is to bring back people that make sense," said Kramer. "And Hilarie was like, 'I never got to meet Alex, so it'd be fun to have us meet.'"

Reflecting on her character, Kramer expressed her belief that Alex has grown and evolved since the original series ended. "I feel like there's so much of Alex that's a piece of me," she said. "Though I didn't go through some of the things she went through, I've had harder times, too. So, I want to believe that she's done some healing work but she's still who she is, she still causes a little bit of a stir."

Kramer credits her time on "One Tree Hill" for launching her music career. "I know the only reason I got a record deal was because I was on 'One Tree Hill,' " she admitted. "I know that the only reason people came to the show because they're 'One Tree Hill'-ers."

The original "One Tree Hill" ran from 2003 to 2012, capturing the hearts of viewers with its drama and relatable characters. A release date for the reboot series has yet to be announced.
