AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan, now 38, recently shared her experience of meeting her husband's family for the first time. The actress, who can currently be seen in the Christmas movie "Our Little Secret", admitted that she felt "super nervous" before the encounter.
"It's always a potentially tricky situation," Lohan told HELLO! magazine. "I remember being super nervous when I met my husband's family for the first time. His mom is so great and she has all these gorgeous sisters, so it was a lot."
Despite her initial anxiety, Lohan's in-laws welcomed her with open arms. "I was scared at first, but his whole family made me feel so welcome. They're so sweet and we're really close now," she said.
Lohan also spoke about the joy of motherhood. She and Shammas have an 18-month-old son named Luai. "It's everything I hoped it would be and more," Lohan said. "My little boy is such a blessing. I am so grateful every day. Being with him is like falling in love all over again, every single day."
The actress added that Christmas has become even more special since becoming a mother. She shared, "Getting to share Christmas with my son makes it special, for sure, but this has always been a special time for me. I'm pretty sentimental when it comes to this time of year – even more so now."
In addition to motherhood and her role in "Our Little Secret", Lohan recently attended Paris Fashion Week and expressed her admiration for Balenciaga designer Demna. "I love Balenciaga. I love Demna. I love what he is doing with the collection. I like how he's not afraid to just express what he wants to do," she said.
