With Marvel Studios now in charge of the Man Without Fear and the Netflix TV shows considered "canon," fans are eagerly anticipating Yung's Elektra to get a second chance in "Daredevil: Born Again".

Several characters from "Daredevil" have been brought into the upcoming Disney+ series, including Jon Bernthal's Punisher. Elektra is a character with immense potential, making it almost inevitable that she would grace the MCU again. Rumors from scooper @BeyondReporter suggest that "[Yung] filmed some scenes for 'Daredevil: Born Again'. Possibly Episode 6 or 7. Take it as a rumor because the series was remade from scratch, and a lot of things were thrown away."

Although nothing is set in stone, it would be a thrilling addition for Elektra to show up in Matt Murdock's life, perhaps offering some crucial wisdom during his war with Mayor Wilson Fisk. This cameo could set the stage for a larger role in a potential second season. Adding to the excitement, social media rumblings hint that the first trailer for the series may drop in the coming days.

In a 2020 interview, Yung expressed her desire to return, stating, "Oh my God, I would love to [return]. Especially since they've adjusted my costume. I would love to. Let me tell you, I love this character because she's so complex and broken. She's got a lot of villain in her, and that I can relate to, and also a lot of good. It's such an amazing character. I would love for Marvel to bring her back."

"Daredevil: Born Again" follows Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities fighting for justice, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) pursues political endeavors in New York. The collision of their past identities sets the stage for an inevitable showdown. The series also stars Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson and Jon Bernthal, among others, with Dario Scardapane as showrunner. Directed by top talents like Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, the series will premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
