The announcement marks a continuation of Disney+'s collaboration with Kangfull, who created both "Moving" and the upcoming "Light Shop." The first four episodes of "Light Shop" will debut on Disney+ on December 4th.

The cast of "Moving" includes Ryu Seung-ryong, Han Hyo-joo, Zo In-sung, and Cha Tae-hyun. The series, which launched in August 2023, has been a huge hit for Disney+ and Hulu, ranking as the number one local original title globally on Disney+ last year.

In addition to "Moving" season 2, Disney+ also revealed details on four upcoming Korean series including "The Murky", Disney+'s first Korean historical drama, starring Rowoon and Shin Yeeun, "The Manipulated", an action drama starring Ji Changwook and Doh Kyungsoo, "Tempest", a political drama starring Jun Gianna, Gang Dongwon, and John Cho, and "Made In Korea", A crime drama starring Hyun Bin and Jung Woosung.

Disney+ has also offered first looks at several other Korean series, including "Unmasked," "Hyper Knife," "Knock-off," "Nine Puzzles," and "Low Life."

Carol Choi, Disney's executive vp of original content strategy for APAC, said that Korean content has been incredibly successful for Disney+, driving subscriptions in the region. She added that in 2023, nine of the top 15 best performing international original titles released on Disney+ were Korean.
