Kristin Cavallari reveals her 'guy mentality' approach to dating, opens up about her relationship status, and dishes on what she's looking for in her ideal 'soulmate.'

AceShowbiz - Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari recently opened up about her unique approach to dating on her "Let's Be Honest" podcast, admitting that she has a "guy mentality" when it comes to relationships. This intriguing mindset has shaped her understanding of dating dynamics and informed the advice she offers to her listeners.

"The Hills" alum discussed how this mentality allows her to decipher the often confusing signals men send in relationships. "I do feel like I have sort of guy mentality, and that's why I've always kind of understood this game to a degree," she began. Cavallari, 37, humorously speculated that this mentality might have stemmed from having an older brother or perhaps being "a guy in another life."

She further elaborated on how the fear of getting her heart broken transformed her into the heartbreaker over time. "I think for a long time I was so afraid of getting my heart broken, but then I became the heartbreaker," she said. "I think it's just a combination of things. I also, I just have masculine energy when it comes to this stuff."

Growing up surrounded by male friends, Cavallari gleaned invaluable insights into how men perceive and discuss women, describing their conversations as "fascinating." Her experiences have enabled her to forge strong bonds with men and friends alike, blending her masculine energy within her dating philosophy.

Besides offering dating tips on her podcast, Cavallari also shared a glimpse into her personal life, revealing that she is currently single and "not actively looking to date right now." While she feels ready in many aspects, she emphasized, "Where I'm at in my life, if I feel one thing is wrong, is missing, I'm not wasting my time or my energy on someone."

Ruling out joining dating apps, she went on to dish on her ideal "soulmate," "I'm looking for someone who is loyal and honest. … "I'm very f**king honest and transparent, and I want that in return."

"I am not looking to grind anymore. I've sort of curated my life to be this perfect work-life balance," she continued. "It's someone who's just, like, not in that hustle mode, who isn't in the mode of having something to prove. I'm over that phase of having something to prove, which makes me really happy, because it was fun, and I had that fire in me, but I'm too laid back now for that, so I need someone who meets me there."

Cavallari's candid revelations provide a refreshing and relatable look at modern dating, showcasing how embracing a mix of energies can offer a deeper understanding of relationship dynamics. Her story underscores the importance of knowing oneself and not settling for anything less than what one truly wants in a partner.

Having previously married Jay Cutler from 2013 to 2022, with whom she shares three children - Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 8 - Cavallari's journey emphasizes the growth and self-awareness essential for successful dating, resonating with young people navigating their own relationships.
